Timothée Chalamet and Chrome Hearts Are Redefining Courtside Fashion

Timothée Chalamet has become one of the most talked-about faces in sports fashion this season — not for anything he’s done on the court, but for what he’s worn beside it. As the New York Knicks make a historic championship push, the actor has been showing up to Madison Square Garden in increasingly bold custom looks from Los Angeles-based brand Chrome Hearts, quickly establishing himself as a courtside style icon.

A Creative Partnership Built on Trust

The collaboration is far more hands-on than a typical celebrity endorsement. Chalamet works directly with the Stark family, founders of Chrome Hearts, on every look. “He comes in, he works closely with us on looks, he does his fittings,” says Laurie Lynn Stark, president and co-owner of the brand. Rather than simply pulling pieces, Chalamet helps design custom outfits down to the boots, socks, and rings — though the Starks admit they never quite know the final look until he appears courtside.

From Velour Tracksuits to Leather Statements

The standout pieces have been nothing short of theatrical. A custom orange leather tracksuit with white piping and his initials turned heads during the June 8 game against the San Antonio Spurs. Most recently, on June 10, he debuted a denim-on-denim ensemble — a trucker jacket and jeans adorned with Chrome Hearts’ signature Gothic cross appliqués — accessorised with an orange belt, layered chains, and a choker necklace. Girlfriend Kylie Jenner has often matched his energy in coordinating Chrome Hearts outfits.

With the Knicks still in championship contention, Chalamet’s courtside fashion moments are far from over.
