Milan & Florence Gear Up for the Most Exciting Menswear Season in Years

The men’s fashion calendar is heating up as Pitti Uomo and Milan Fashion Week Men’s return with one of their most compelling lineups in recent memory. Florence’s Pitti Uomo opens its 110th edition from June 16–19, hosting over 730 brands, while Milan follows with 16 runway shows and 44 presentations for Spring/Summer 2027.

The headline act at Pitti is Simone Rocha, presenting her first-ever dedicated menswear show in Florence. The Irish designer, known for her romantic and subversive aesthetic, brings a new chapter to her work — promising playfulness alongside seriousness. Fellow guest designers include DSM Kei Ninomiya, making his ready-to-wear debut at a late-night show, and South Korean designer Jiyong Kim, celebrated for his sun-bleaching techniques.

New Faces Shake Up the Milan Calendar

Milan welcomes Thom Browne for his Italian menswear debut on June 22, bringing his signature theatrical flair to a city known for refined tailoring. Ralph Lauren also returns following last season’s well-received appearance, combining its Purple Label and Polo lines on a single runway.

Prada remains a key highlight, with Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons expected to set the tone for the broader season. Meanwhile, the week closes with a landmark moment — designers Leo Dell’Orco and Silvana Armani presenting together for Giorgio Armani for the very first time.

Emerging Talent Gets Its Moment

Beyond the established houses, new names including Colombian-Italian-American label Garcias, Copenhagen’s Martin Quad, and Tokyo-based Shinyakozuka join the schedule, signalling Milan’s growing commitment to nurturing the next generation of menswear voices.
