Off/Duty by Coco Rocha Partners with KBL Group

Xcel Brands-owned label Off/Duty by Coco Rocha announced a new licensing agreement with KBL Group on Monday, naming the company as its production partner for upcoming ready-to-wear collections. The move comes as the brand prepares to launch on QVC this fall and continues expanding across retail channels.

KBL Group to Handle Sourcing and Manufacturing

Under the deal, KBL Group will take charge of sourcing, product development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations for the brand. Xcel Brands chairman and CEO Robert D’Loren said the partnership pairs the company’s brand-building approach with a manufacturer capable of executing designer Coco Rocha’s vision at a high standard of quality. He described KBL Group’s product development and manufacturing expertise as making it an ideal partner for the label moving forward.

Off/Duty by Coco Rocha was created by Xcel Brands in collaboration with the Canadian model and designer. It joins a growing portfolio at Xcel that includes heritage label Halston and lifestyle brand C. Wonder, alongside a set of influencer-driven brands such as Tower Hill by Christie Brinkley, Trust. Respect. Love by Cesar Millan, and GemmaMade by Gemma Stafford, plus a licensing arrangement for Mesa Mia by Jenny Martinez.

A Shared Vision for Modern Dressing

KBL Group CEO David Guisinger said the company is proud to help bring a modern, accessible approach to dressing to market through the partnership. He pointed to Rocha’s authentic perspective and insight into how women dress today as a strong foundation for the brand, adding that combining Xcel’s brand-building know-how with KBL’s sourcing and production expertise is intended to build a lifestyle brand suited to today’s confident, versatile consumer.

The collaboration marks another step in Off/Duty by Coco Rocha’s expansion, with its QVC debut set to introduce the label to a wider retail audience later this year.
