Jennie Channels New York Street Style at Governors Ball 2026

Jennie took the headline stage at New York’s Governors Ball music festival, delivering a high-energy performance packed with fan-favourite hits and an unreleased track called “Lock It Down.” The K-pop star described her vision for the night as “fun, high energy, and really immersive from beginning to end,” aiming to turn the set into one big summer celebration — and by all accounts, she delivered exactly that.

A Look Rooted in New York DNA

For her festival outfit, Jennie wore a custom ensemble by AWGE, the creative brand helmed by Harlem-born rapper A$AP Rocky. The look included a stars-and-stripes bra top adorned with crystal details, a distinctive mini skirt combining distressed denim and flannel plaid, Stand Oil boots, and a New York cap. Jennie said the styling felt “very me right now — a little more street, playful, and relaxed,” adding that she had long wanted to collaborate with the brand for a New York performance specifically.

Festival Season Just Getting Started

The Governors Ball appearance marks only the beginning of Jennie’s busy summer touring schedule. Despite early weather concerns, the skies cleared, the crowd was electric, and the singer walked away glowing. “I was just really happy the weather cleared up,” she said. Fans eager for more won’t have long to wait — Jennie is set to headline Chicago’s Lollapalooza next month, continuing what promises to be a landmark summer of live performances across major American cities.
