Emily Ratajkowski calls this dress the ‘most controversial’ look she’s ever worn

Model, actress and writer open up about past fashion choices in a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar.

Emily Ratajkowski stands behind her style choices—even controversial ones.

Emily Ratajkowski, 31, caused an internet stir after wearing a black dress to a Harper’s Bazaar Icons party in 2016. Years later, the supermodel says she had no idea what scene she would cause.

“Someone called it ‘very vulgar’, and it became a huge controversy online. He said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar on Thursday. “I was 20 and didn’t know it was so sexy because there was a panel in the middle. But it didn’t seem like it was there. After sharing some of her fashion choices during an episode of Fashion Flashback, she said Julien’s Macdonald dress was “the most controversial dress” she’s ever worn.

“I was called out because I wanted attention, which I found interesting because you go to the red carpet for attention,” she said, revealing that the criticism had not affected her.

“Still think I look great,” she said. Ratajkowski recently caught the same attention when she wore a tight dress to W magazine’s 50th birthday party.

She wore a long-sleeved mesh dress with undergarments, black heels and a black bag.

Last November, she also shared some photos of her appearance at the CFDA Fashion Awards earlier in the month on Instagram. He explained in the caption that he “barely let go” of them because he knew it would “cause controversy.”

“But hey, this is my body, and I have nothing to be ashamed of!” explained Ratajkowski. “God bless!”
