Saint Laurent Names Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as Its First Deputy CEO

Saint Laurent has made a significant leadership move, appointing Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as its first-ever Deputy CEO. Parent company Kering confirmed the appointment on Thursday, with Duranteau-Loeper set to join the Parisian house on July 1, 2026. She will report directly to Saint Laurent CEO Cédric Charbit, who has led the brand since 2024.

A Leader Built for Product Excellence

Duranteau-Loeper brings nearly a decade of experience at Isabel Marant, where she served as CEO alongside the brand’s eponymous founder. During her tenure, she spearheaded a comprehensive growth strategy that encompassed expanding the accessories business, relaunching menswear, repositioning the Marant Étoile diffusion line, and driving physical retail expansion across key markets. In 2021, she was elected president of the Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Féminine, France’s governing body for women’s fashion, further cementing her standing in the industry.

In her new role, Duranteau-Loeper will take charge of all product operations at Saint Laurent, from overseeing the creative studios to collection development and global merchandising. She will work in close collaboration with creative director Anthony Vaccarello, with a clear mandate to elevate the brand’s product assortment and strengthen international demand.

A Strategic Hire at a Pivotal Moment

The appointment signals Saint Laurent’s ambitions at a time of positive momentum. Kering reported that Saint Laurent delivered year-on-year growth in Q1 2026, even as stablemate Gucci saw sales decline. Charbit described Duranteau-Loeper’s experience and vision as “instrumental” in advancing the house’s long-term product strategy and global execution. The creation of a deputy CEO role itself marks a notable structural evolution for the brand.
