Jenna Bush Hager Admits She Never Wore Panties: ‘I’m Sure My Mother Was Never Proud’

Hoda Kotb made a cheeky reveal about his co-host Jenna Bush Hager.
On Wednesday’s episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna, Kotb revealed that he recently learned something new about Bush Hager — that he “never wears underwear.”
“I was a little surprised because Jenna and I know so much about each other,” Kotb told the crowd on NBC’s daytime show, which rapped again for the studio audience this week.
He later explained that he discovered Bush Hager’s love of command right before a show when the two had to change in the locker room. “I was just a little bit shocked by it,” Kotb said, recalling the moment he “got it.”
Meanwhile, Bush Hager defended his election. “I think it makes for a prettier silhouette!” he said. “I also found that you don’t need to collect so many things. It has many advantages!”
But he also looks a little embarrassed. “You promised me you wouldn’t do that! Lots of people here!” the former first daughter told Kotb, then joked, “I bet my mom has never been this proud.” room, saying that it “really makes life a lot easier”.
The downside? “Lots of laundry, over and over,” says Kotb.
That doesn’t seem to bother Bush Hager. “[Hoda] said, ‘Did you do your laundry,’ and I said, ‘Yeah, you did.’ But it’s also not like I’m sharing jeans with you. Even though he steals Savannah [Guthrie’s] pants sometimes,” he explained, asking Kotb, “And I’d really like to borrow your red suit. Can I?”
“Yeah, you can do it anytime,” Kotb said.
“I’ll wear underwear,” Bush Hager joked. Today with Hoda and Jenna starting filming again in front of a live audience on Monday, temporarily returning to Studio 6A in New York City, where they previously filmed the show.
“We miss him and love him,” Kotb said when announcing his return earlier this month. “This is very important to us, but it has everything to do with sitting with your loved ones.”
Bush Hager added: “We all miss you, don’t you feel like everyone wants a relationship? I feel people coming back to church, people getting back together, people going to concerts and shows.”
