A gold necklace is a perfect way to complement any outfit, and Katie Holmes wears the ideal combination

Do you have basic clothes that need some care and affection? Take a page from Katie Holmes’ book and try the surest way to grow it: stacking gold jewellery.

The Alone Together star recently did just that. She rocked a simple denim outfit, a white tank top, a white button-down shirt and sneakers and let the layered BaubleBar necklace be the show’s star. The brand produces some of the most affordable jewellery celebrities wear, and Holmes’ eclectic selection is hard to beat.

First in his plaid stack is the 18k gold Astro BaubleBar Necklace, a double-sided pendant featuring a coloured enamel astrology chart showing all the signs of the zodiac on one side and a slight pearl accent on the other. As you can see from Holmes, the quartet blends seamlessly around the neck, adding a dash of spice to their simple “fit.”
