Crystal Renay speaks up after NE-YO files for divorce: ‘Some things are unforgivable.’
In divorce papers obtained by news earlier this month, Renai claimed the singer had recently fathered a child with another woman.
It seems Crystal Renai has decided to divorce NE-YO.
In a video released by TMZ on Friday, Renai, 36, is heard for the first time since filing for divorce from the “So Sick” singer earlier this month.
When asked if there was any chance she and NE-YO, 42. Could finish their marriage, Renai replied, “No way, God is good. We are moving towards a better life.”
During the farewell call, he added: ‘Some things are unforgivable but God will, one day I will too. A Christian takes a day, but I’m fine.’
Renai said on the way out, whether they got back together, “I mean, only God knows.”
Shortly after Renay publicly accused the R&B singer of cheating. Earlier this month filed for divorce papers obtained by PEOPLE in Atlanta. Claiming the couple’s marriage was “irreparably broken with no hope of reconciliation” following NE-YO’s alleged affair.”
Renay has been marrY\y to NE-YO since February 2016, and the couple has three children together. Daughter Isabella Rose, 14 months, and sons Roman Alexander-Raj, 4, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 6. Due to the divorce papers, Renay claims that NE -YO – from whom he claims to have been separated since July 22 recently fathered a child with another woman.
The Grammy-winning wife also said she is looking after their three children. After their separation and is seeking primary physical custody, joint custody, child support, and care.
Representatives from NE-YO and Renay did not immediately respond to news request for comment at the time.
On July 30, Renay shared a now-deleted Instagram post in which he claims NE-YO cheated. On them in their marriage and that the couple’s long-standing relationship has ended. Meanwhile, NE-YO said he would not comment on “personal matters.”
