Ryan Seacrest laughs gracefully at wardrobe breakdown on Live with Kelly and Ryan

Ryan Seacrest knows how to handle almost anything gracefully – including wardrobe breakdowns!

In a clip from Tuesday’s episode at approximately 30 p.m., Seacrest, 47, introduces his guest host, the original Queer Eye, to Carson Kressley’s straight personality. However, as they sat down to start the show, the Emmy winner realized he had forgotten to button his pants and told Kressley, “By the way, my bow tie came off.”

“I guess you are just happy to see me!” Kressley, 52, joked about the crash. “I only wore this at the last minute because I saw what you were wearing. So I had to change something fast,” Seacrest joked in response.

Earlier this year, the TV personality suffered a similar wardrobe breakdown while hosting the season finale of American Idol in May.

Seacrest made a fast change during the live episode after it was noticed that the panties he was wearing gave viewers an “enhancement” of his anatomical look.

Seacrest called the incident “a little embarrassing” during an episode of Live, Seacrest revealing that he had asked longtime stylist Miles Siggins for a spare pair of underwear. “It was in the middleing of a live show! So we went backstage during the commercial, and we found a little corner, and I took my pants off, took off my underwear, and put them on,” Seacrest told co-host Kelly Ripa.

“It was my first live show,” added Seacrest. “All about [American Idol]. It’s a family show.”
