NE-YO wife Crystal Renay accuses him of cheating: ‘8 years of lies and deceit
Crystal Renay said in an Instagram post late Saturday that what NE-YO did was “no longer any of my business.”
NE-YO’s wife, Crystal Renay, ended her relationship with the musician.
Renai shared a post on Instagram late Saturday, claiming that the 42-year-old “So Sick” singer had an affair in their marriage and that the couple’s long-standing relationship is now over. Meanwhile, NE-YO said he would not comment on “personal matters.”
“8 years. 8 years of lies and deceit,” wrote Renai in his post. “8 years unknowingly sharing my life and my husband’s life with many women who sold their bodies to him without protection… every one of them!”
“To say I am heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement,” the message continued. However, I choose myself; I prefer my happiness and health and respect.
“I have three wonderful children from him, but nothing but wasted years and heartache,” added Renai. The couple has a 13-month-old daughter, Isabella Rose, and sons, Roman Alexander-Raj, 4, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 6. Renay later asked fans not to post evidence of NE-YO cheating on his social media.
“I ask all of you, please stop sending me videos and information about his cheating because what he is doing is none of my business anymore,” he said. “I’m not a victim.”
“I choose to stand tall with my head held high. When someone can’t love you the way you deserve, it’s up to you to love yourself. With no hatred in my heart, I only wish them the best,” she said. Next.
Representatives from NE-YO and Renay did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
The day after Renay shared his post, NE-YO replied in a Twitter message on Sunday.
“In the interest of our children, my family and I will face our challenges behind closed doors. Therefore, private matters should not be discussed and dissected in public forums,” he said. “All I ask is that you respect my privacy and that of my family at this time.”
