Who is Scotty McCreery’s wife? All about Gabby Dougal McCreary

The country singer 1st met his wife in kindergarten – and now they are expecting their first child.

Scotty McCreary and his wife Gabby are becoming parents!

The couple revealed exclusively to the news that they expect their first child together – a boy.

“We always know we wanted kids, but we somewhere knew that in the early years, we wanted to travel and have time to travel and see things and live life,” the American Idol graduate told the news.

“We got to live a long life and do some cool stuff, so it seemed like now was the perfect time to settle down and expand the family.

Scotty and Gabby married in June 2018 but have been together since high school.

“We’ve been together for six years and have known each other our whole lives. That kind of thing doesn’t often happen these days,” Scotty told the news. “I support his dream, and he supports mine.”

Gabby and Scotty have known each other for most of their lives since they first met in kindergarten. “He’s going to kill me for saying that, but in his kindergarten diary, he has Mrs. Gabby McCreery written on his heart,” the singer said of his wife on the Harry Conic Jr. talk show.

The couple finally started dating in their final year of high school—they even went to prom together—and the rest is history. After getting engaged in September 2017, the two married in June 2018 in the mountains of North Carolina.

While Scotty attended North Carolina State University, his wife attended a rival university, the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill. She finally graduated from UNC in 2016 with a degree in Nursing.

“I’m so proud of him today because all his work paid off, and he’s graduated!” Scotty wrote on Instagram with their graduation photo. He and Scotty McCreery attended competing colleges.
