Sandra Lee says her “fears have calmed down” after visiting a German clinic
“You have to find the right doctors; you have to look for them and look for them, people who make you a priority, people who will listen to you and dig deep,” Lee said.
Sandra Lee shared her joy in finding doctors who offered new strategies for their health problems.
The 56-year-old Food Network star updated his social media followers about his trip to Baden-Baden, a city known as a popular wellness destination with medical professionals and clinics.
On Thursday, Lee shared photos of his trip on Instagram and wrote: “Unfortunately, I left Baden Baden, but I have a lot of medical information I need (different test results in two weeks). I found my time meaningful and reminded of the importance of being an advocate for your own medical.”
“My only direction to you is that you have to find the right doctor; you have to seek and seek them out, people who will make you a priority, listen to you and dive deep. People who see things -things you’ve made. Don’t think about those who aren’t afraid to try or recommend them, and also, PLEASE know you’ll have to do your research, says cooking star The Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee.
“Your life, your health and your happiness are YOUR WEALTH. Not half! When I let my anxiety settle, I have a sustainable plan,” she wrote.
Seven years ago, Lee underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Most recently, in March, Lee underwent a hysterectomy and shared details about his experience and recovery. “Surgery is not fun, but the third day is always the worst day for me. Yesterday (my 3rd day) was quite aggressive,” Lee wrote.
“The surgery was brutal, but I’m still happy to do it. After getting an IV, an excellent anti-nausea drug, I feel so much better,” he wrote. Days earlier, he had admitted the operation was “a little rough,” but he was “grateful that this is the end of one chapter also the beginning of another,” he said.
