On Monday, Robin Roberts the 61-year-old Good Morning America host shared a video of Lane ringing the bell on Instagram to signal the end of her radiation treatment.
“Sweet Amber,” Robbins captioned the clip.

Roberts’ colleagues at ABC News also celebrated the milestone in the post’s comments section.
World News Tonight host David Muir shared three red heart emojis. In April, Roberts told Ellen about her partner’s breast cancer diagnosis.
“I have not talked about it much, but with you, I will,” Roberts told host Ellen DeGeneres as her voice shook. “He’s fine; that’s good.”
The journalist herself was analyzed with breast cancer in 2007 also then myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a rare blood and bone marrow disorder that required a bone marrow transplant in 2012. But her health problems alone did not prepare Roberts to see Lane, her partner since 2005, seek treatment.
“I’ve been through it twice and barely shed a tear,” he said. “I turn into a puddle whenever I think about what Amber went through. But she was so brave and did so well.”
