The Spring/Summer 2027 women’s ready-to-wear calendar for Paris Fashion Week has officially been released, and it will run from September 28 to October 6. The lineup includes 68 shows and 33 presentations, a slight pullback from the previous season’s 74 shows and 37 presentations, which had been notable for an unusually high number of designer debuts. This time around, only two new creative leads will make their runway debuts: Courrèges’ newly appointed artistic director Drew Henry, showing on September 30, and Carven’s incoming design director Kai Nesselrath, presenting on October 1.
Familiar Names Make a Comeback
Several major houses are returning to the Paris calendar after sitting out a season or more. These include Valentino, which had staged its fall 2026 show in Rome, and Maison Margiela, last seen presenting in Shanghai. Other returnees include Sacai, Ester Manas, Christopher Esber, and Casablanca. Meanwhile, Alaïa will host a studio-designed presentation on October 3, still without a permanent creative director following Pieter Mulier’s departure for Versace earlier this year.
New Faces and Notable Absences
Making its show-calendar debut is Maxhosa Africa, the South African knitwear label founded by Laduma Ngxokolo, whose designs have been worn by celebrities including Beyoncé. The presentation schedule also welcomes newcomers Alexandra Golovanoff and Fidan Novruzova. On the flip side, several names are skipping the season: McQueen is heading to London Fashion Week instead, Rabanne is sitting out ahead of Olivier Rousteing’s March debut, and both Nina Ricci and Off-White are absent from the schedule entirely.
The full calendar also features anchor names like Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton, cementing Paris’s status as fashion month’s grand finale.
