Max Alexander, Age 10, Makes History at Paris Fashion Week 2026

Ten-year-old Max Alexander has become the youngest designer ever to showcase a collection at Paris Fashion Week, debuting his label To The Max at the iconic Palais Garnier on March 4, 2026. The California-based prodigy, who first walked the runway at New York Fashion Week at just eight years old, dazzled audiences with a stunning Fall/Winter collection rooted in sustainability and joyful design.

A Collection Rooted in Sustainability

Alexander presented 15 original looks, with 90 percent crafted from sustainable materials. Among the standout pieces was a flowing orange floral silhouette made entirely from a vintage Indian saree — a detail that quickly captured global attention on social media. The collection was dedicated to Fern Mallis, the founder of New York Fashion Week, whom Alexander regards as his fashion godmother. His latest bag design and handmade charms both sold out within 24 hours of the showcase.

From Coffee Bags to the Catwalk

Alexander’s creative journey is as unconventional as his designs. He follows a drape-first approach, letting movement shape each piece rather than starting with sketches. His portfolio spans over 150 designs, including dresses, kimonos, jackets, and bags — some even crafted from coffee bean bags hand-dyed with turmeric, beets, and indigo. In September 2024, he addressed the United Nations on eco-fashion and sustainability, cementing his reputation as a designer with a genuine purpose.

A Guinness World Record holder with over five million Instagram followers, Max Alexander is redefining what it means to be a fashion prodigy — one sustainable stitch at a time.
