Eva Mendes hinted she could marry longtime boyfriend Ryan Gosling with a new tattoo photo

Eva Mendes wrist tattoos may be short and sweet, but they can have a deeper meaning.

The 48-year-old actress and entrepreneur has been notoriously tight-lip about her 11-year relationship with actor Ryan Gosling, 42. But new Instagram posts suggest he prefers to be open about his relationship.

In a photo share on Tuesday, Mendes can be see covering his face with his wrist, which has the words “de Gosling” write on it.

In Spanish-speaking cultures, the use of “de” or “of” links a woman’s last name to her husband’s after marriage, meaning the star tattoo might refer to the title “Mrs. Gosling”. This isn’t the 1st time fans have seen Mendes inked.

In an Instagram photo share in September, she subtly sports a sentimental tattoo while flaunting a field of flowers, and her followers quickly recognized the art’s significance, with many referring to Gosling as Mendes’ wife. Mendes also Gosling met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011. Where they played a couple with a son.

Their on-screen chemistry turn into true love when the two were spot embracing and kissing romantically at Disneyland shortly after filming wrap in Paris.

Mendes and Gosling shared tidbits about their personal lives with their daughters Esmeralda Amada, 8. And Amada Lee, 6, who welcomed them in 2014 and 2016 respectively.

Speaking to news in August about her new partnership with Skura Style. Which she is a brand ambassador and co-owner, Mendes said her “husband and children” are her home.

“Wherever they are, that is,” she sweetly shares.

Gosling also opened up about what life as a father of two was like. Revealing how some of his recent projects have even been inspired by his daughters.

“I’m a dad first, and one of the reasons I made the film [The Gray Man] was an opportunity for us to go to these exciting places and be there with my kids,” he told The Daily Mail in August.
