Erekrut’s Game-Changing Approach to Hiring in the Post-Pandemic Landscape
The landscape of hiring has undergone significant transformations since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, marked by shifts in recruitment strategies, remote interviews, and the evolving dynamics of job seekers.
Erekrut, an innovative HRtech startup founded in 2020 by Ajay Goyal and Dr. Ravinder Goyal, is at the forefront of revolutionizing the hiring process. The platform leverages advanced technology to create a unified ecosystem, seamlessly connecting recruiters, job seekers, and educational institutions.
Addressing the Challenges of Traditional Hiring
Erekrut was conceived in response to the challenges identified by Ajay Goyal during his involvement in a campus-to-corporate program at Amity University in 2019. The traditional hiring process was marred by lengthy cycles, delayed candidate responses, and an impersonal approach that struggled to attract top talent. Recognizing the need for transformation, Ajay collaborated with his father, Dr. Ravinder Goyal, bringing together their expertise in vocational training and placement to establish Erekrut.
Automating and Streamlining Recruitment with Advanced Technology
A key highlight of Erekrut’s platform is its remote pre-hiring assessment tool, designed to identify the most suitable talent for specific job roles. Recruiters can customize pre-employment tests based on their requirements, expediting the candidate search process. The platform incorporates ethical AI and data analytics to evaluate job applications, ensuring unbiased candidate matching and eliminating the need for manual resume sifting.
Impressive Partnerships and Scaling Impact
Erekrut has gained substantial traction in both the B2B and B2C segments. The platform boasts a talent pool of over 4.6 million individuals and has established partnerships with more than 1,700 companies, including industry giants such as Paytm, Zomato, Amazon India, Swiggy, and Myntra. With a focus on diverse industry segments like marketing, advertising, consumer service, human resources, and sales, Erekrut has successfully onboarded 700+ academic institutions, facilitating campus recruitment.
Securing Funding for Growth and Expansion
In May 2022, Erekrut secured INR 35 crore in its pre-seed funding round, including a notable INR 1 crore infusion from its founders. The startup is currently engaged in an ongoing bridge funding round, aiming to raise INR 2.5 crore in the next two months and an additional INR 25 crore in its pre-series A funding round over the next six months. This capital infusion will play a crucial role in scaling Erekrut’s operations and furthering its impact on the evolving landscape of modern hiring.
