Dylan Schneider loves his girly side, his big ATVs and Dustin Lynch
Dylan Schneider co-wrote Dustin Lynch’s hit “Mama’s House,” but he didn’t like it, so he didn’t record it
At 22, Indiana native Dylan Schneider would have gone to college had he not pursued a career in country music. Rather than chatting with girls between high school classes like many guys his age. Schneider dressed the influencer in frayed jeans and loaded him into a jacked-up ATV to get dirty for his “Girls Country” music video.
People debuted the action-packed clip, which stars influencers Caden McGuire. Blake Moore, Hannah Barron, and more, and was filmed at the Granger Smith show in Austin, Texas. Schneider said there was everything from mud and bonfires to bull riding.
“We got a lot of great footage that day,” said Schneider, explaining that they returned to Nashville and shot show scenes in the suburbs in more rural areas.
“Involving all my friends helps give it a nice country vibe, which I think people will love to see.”
“Girls Country” is taken from Schneider’s five-part College Town EP. Along with previous fan favorites “Lost in a Small Town” and “Right Girl.”
Once they started, Schneider and her co-writers wrote Girls Country in about 45 minutes. But it took them a while to get an idea. Everyone searched for song ideas on their cell phones but to no avail before the concept of “Girls Country” came to mind.
“It tastes good,” he said. “Of course, we experienced that with ‘I Like My Girls’ Country. But it was also “I like a lot of country things. We brought this idea into the mix and wanted to write something funny. It’s an uptempo, in-your-song song. -face. Sometimes they seem the easiest, but they are the hardest to get good ones. When we came up with this idea, we thought it was fun and unique, so we had to publish it.”
