Chicks apologize to fans after the show ends mid-Indianapolis concert
“We can’t give you the show you deserve,” the country trio said Sunday.
The Chicks cope with their sudden departure from the Indianapolis stage.
On Sunday night, Chicks according to local news station WTHR-TV. The country band whetted their appetites even more, when they ended their show about 30 minutes into the middle of a concert.
“Indianapolis, Chicks we’re very sorry we weren’t able to deliver the show you deserve OR the show we wanted to give you. The group said in a statement posted to Instagram following the incident. “We’re flying back to Indianapolis!! Save your tickets. We love you, Indianapolis,” the statement added after explaining that ticket holders would contact official outlets for more information.
The group, which consists of Natalie Maines, Marty Maguire, and Emily Strayer. Issued another statement Monday evening, saying they were “forced to reschedule several concerts on their tour this summer,” including stops in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan, as a result of “Orders. medical for vocal rest. According to the statement, the September and October programs have been rescheduled. The band will now perform on September 28 in Clarkston, Michigan, and on September 30 in Noblesville, Indiana. Last month, the band PEOPLE kicked off their summer 2022 tour. Including their plans to cover certain songs they haven’t performed in over two decades.
“We’re going to change different songs [from Gaslighter], but if you come to more than one show, you might be able to see performances from the entire album,” said Maines, 47. “This is for the fans and us because we’ve worked so long and hard on the record that many of the prizes are playing it live.”
