Bret Michaels gives 100%’ on return to the stage after hospitalization
Bret Michaels was hospitalized on Thursday during a stopover in Nashville with his band Poison.
Bret Michaels is back on stage after the recent health crisis.
Following his concert in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday night, the Poison frontman tweeted a photo of himself sitting in the corner of the stage with cheering fans in the background, writing, “Jacksonville, #Florida fans in the pouring rain swayed my world.”
“I love you so much, and I’m sorry I’m sick,” he added. Michaels, 59, also posted a photo of himself smiling broadly with the crowd on Instagram.
“Sick and in the pouring rain, Brett gave 100%,” he wrote in the post’s caption. Earlier on Saturday, the musician provided an update on his health and thanked him for his support from fans during the challenge.
“First, I need to thank all for your great wishes. It is s been a tough few days for me,” Michaels said in a video. “I just wanted to thank everyone; it means everything to me.”
He shared that he was in Jacksonville and explained that he was “ready to rock” despite not feeling “on his best Sunday.”
“I’ll give you 1,000% of everything I have in the tank now,” he continued. “I will continue to rock and carry it, and I couldn’t be more grateful for such an amazing and wonderful family, friends, and fans.” Thank you.”
