Ashley Monroe, 34, revealed in an emotional post that she has a rare form of blood cancer
Ashley Monroe was overwhelmed by the news from her fans and friends who rose to fame after her devastating cancer diagnosis… The 34-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that she has a rare form of blood cancer.
The country singer was diagnosed with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM), a type of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma known as lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma.
Ashley announced that she would be starting chemotherapy this week, and she was “grateful” that her illness “could last a long time.”
Ashley Monroe was overwhelmed with support after being diagnosed with cancer.
He also wrote about how grateful he was for his son and that he had hope through the power of prayer. The mother of one wrote, “Thank God. Times like these make me feel grateful. I receive weekly interest for @genajohnson507.

“I loved living in Nashville when we had to cancel our trip to Florida. Sitting with my sister the day I found out. When I saw that John was my rock and Dalton’s best dad was he was surrounded by best friends (and prayed for him), .family, and manager) I can dream.”
He continued, “A few months ago, my doctor did routine laboratory work and found I was anemic. So I’m like, OK, I’ll double the cheeseburger bun, take the extra vitamins, and call it a day.

Country singer shares an emotional post on social media
“Well, my red blood count kept dropping, and they found that my iron/b12/folic acid levels were correct. So, in short, they did a bone marrow biopsy(s) and VOILA.. a rare blood group in a word called ‘Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.’
