The country music star shared a clip on Instagram Tuesday of the couple dancing to his song “Actin’ Up” while attending the 70th annual BMI State Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.
The short video, which plays a song from their 2022 album Palomino, shows the two dressed in nines, each with a drink in hand. Dressed in a black and emerald mini dress, Lambert wore a BMI medal around her neck and adorned hoop earrings. McLaughlin outfitted his wife with a classic black suit and tie.
“Playing with @brendanjmcloughlin at the @bmi awards tonight (thank you @red55winery on our glasses @wandajunehome),” Lambert wrote in the photo caption.
Lambert and McLaughlin married in 2019 after a three-month whirlwind romance. Last month, the “House That Built Me” hitmaker celebrated her husband’s 31st birthday. And marked the special day by posting a sweet tribute to him on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday to me @brendanjmcloughlin! Happy to celebrate the man with the biggest heart also biggest smile. He wrote in a series of photos of the retired NYPD officer. She continues: “Lovers of food, cooking, golf, animals, fitness, sun, home, adventure, travel, friends, family and me. I love you so much! #31.”
McLaughlin commented on the post with two red heart
In early October, the singer completed the first few weeks of his Las Vegas residency, and McLaughlin celebrated his return home with a home-cooked meal.
