Brooke Eden and Hilary Hoover are getting married! All the details of their double ceremony
After officially getting married in Nashville, Brooke Eden and Hilary Hoover held a second wedding ceremony in Mexico, attended by 140 families and friends.
Country artist Brooke Eden and now wife Hilary Hoover celebrated their love with not one but two wedding ceremonies.
On August 27, the couple married for the first time in a legal ceremony at a small white church in Nashville. Surrounded by their parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews.
Also present at the ceremony was Garth Brooks, who works for Hoover. Brooks sings “To Make You Feel My Love” as Eden and Hoover, both 33. Walk down the aisle with their parents while his wife, Tricia Yearwood, acts as an officer.
On October 27, 140 family members and friends attended their second wedding ceremony at Paradisus Playa del Carmen Resort in Del Carmen, Mexico.
“Because our families live far apart (the Brookes live in Florida, and the Hilarys live in Indiana). They don’t spend much time together,” the couple told PEOPLE. “We had to be legally married in the state before Mexico, so we knew a ceremony in Nashville with our family would be the perfect way for our family to bond.”
“It was the most amazing thing to see our family fall in love,” they continued.
“Hilary’s niece and nephew have become good friends with Brooke’s niece (our black girl and ring bearer), as are the rest of our family. We have so much support from family and friends that we wanted to celebrate with everyone.”
Eden and Hoover tie the knot on a bridge leading to the beach in Mexico. Her best friend, Nashville-based photographer Ford Fairchild, married her, and they took their own vows.
For the big day, Eden wore the dress she wear during her Love Inc. magazine cover shoot, which is out this week. Designer Savin London surprise her with the dress a few weeks before her ceremony.
