Cher makes 2nd surprise appearance at Paris Fashion Week after dropping out of Balmain

The 76-year-old singer appeared in rock ‘n’ roll style, outfitted with fingerless leather gloves.

Cher appeared again at Paris Fashion Week.

After making a surprise appearance on the runway for Balmain’s spring/summer 2023 show finale on Wednesday, the 76-year-old singer-actress attended Rick Owens’ show on Thursday.

The “Believe” hitmaker wore a black and white plaid skirt with matching pants, which she paired with a black zip-up T-shirt and fingerless leather gloves.

To complete the rock ‘n’ roll-inspired look, she added chunky black platform shoes and an asymmetrical velvet fedora hat with a large tie on the side. The last accessory is Cher’s long wavy blonde hair.

For her runway appearance the day before, a futuristic spandex look. Cher wore a dark, complete with black platform boots that complemented her signature long black mane. Viewers cheered him on as his 1998 hit “Strong Enough” played over loudspeakers, according to a video shared by WWD.

After hugging the label’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing. Cher sang the song while waving at the audience as she walked hand in hand with Rousteing, 37.

After the show, Cher shared her thoughts on the experience on Twitter.

“I just had the best time on stage,” he wrote in an all-caps tweet. “I feel great, the show was probably the best fashion show ‘ever’.”

She called models “[beauty] from another universe” and said both clothes and clothes were “to die for.”

“[The scene] calls out to me, ‘Cher…oh Cher…come home…'” he wrote alongside a series of Cher-like avatars, including an exploding head emoticon. “I heard you.”

More than 100 models, including Ashley Graham also Kristen McMenamy, walked the runway for a show at Paris’ Stade Jean-Bouin, according to WWD, while Kylie Jenner – in a bold Balmain knit look – was among the crowd watching the massive stadium show.

“For more than six decades, Cher has been a courageous pioneer, a true pioneer who never slowed down and always pulled us with her as she boldly moved forward,” Rousteing told the publication.
