Recently, the woman, who gave ghazals like Ankahi nazar ko nazarbhar dekha, Ek khoobsurat savaal puchiye, Baatein saari kitaabe ho gayi, and penned so many beautiful songs sung by ace Indian singers like Anup Jalota, Udit Narayan and more spoke about her love for mixing humour and satire and presenting her writing work in a form that can instantaneously win and touch hearts. She also spoke about how art knows no boundaries; it is something that cannot be caged in a single language and is beyond any caste, creed, ethnicity, religion, and the like. Hence, she takes pride in saying she is a passionate artist first and then a Hindi poetess.

Yashoda Solanki, who began writing in her school days and even sang them on stage with hard-hitting and social topics in front of politicians and other influential figures and who even served at a top level at Sahitya Srujan Sanstha, has influenced the younger generation with her literary work. Many top Bollywood singers have given their voice to her written art. Her prominent poetry compilation also attracted the attention of big names in the industry, thanks to her poetry writing excellence, choice of impactful words, and unique style of writing, originality, and honesty. Even her élan and grace of holding the audience’s attention on stage as an anchor got her much praise and appreciation.

The poetess wants people to know how art in any industry or niche should be seen as pure art and should never be judged. She believes it is a gift of God and that must be celebrated every day in each part of the world.
