Kim Kardashian So Happy After Receiving a Hair Bun from Marilyn Monroe

Kim Kardashian, who wore a Marilyn Monroe gown to the Met Gala. Received a silver box from Ripley’s Believe It Or Not containing the late film legend’s natural blonde hair.

Kim Kardashian was thrilled to receive a real piece of history that led to her iconic appearance at the Met Gala earlier this week.

The 41-year-old reality star was at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not headquarters ahead of Monday’s fashion show. She was presented with a silver box containing Marilyn Monroe’s actual locks of blonde hair.

Monroe was the direct inspiration for Kardashian’s vision of this year’s Met Gala. The founder of SKIMS wore a timeless gown decorated with the late film legend from his 1962 appearance, “Happy Birthday, Mr. President.”

An Instagram video posted by Ripley showed Kardashian receiving the gift. Which she described as “so cool” and “very special to me.”

“Oh my God, I’m going to do some crazy voodoo – [to] direct it,” he joked as he hugged Ripley’s partner.

“Wow, this sleeps with me every night,” he said, before reaching out to Pete Davidson’s friend. Adding, “Sorry honey.” and JFK to inspire her to look,” read the caption, referring in part to the famous dress. Kardashian wore it to an event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
