Namma Yatri, an open-source auto-hailing app, has expanded its services to Chennai through a partnership with the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

Expansion and Presence:

  • Namma Yatri recently launched in Delhi and already operates in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Kochi, and Kolkata.
  • Aiming to onboard over 1 lakh drivers in Chennai within the next six months, with 10,000 drivers already registered.

  • Namma Yatri currently has 1.8 lakh drivers and more than 45 lakh riders on its platform.
