Rihanna Gets New Tattoo Designed by Her Three Young Children

Rihanna has added a new piece of body art to her collection — and this one is extra special. The Fenty Beauty founder recently unveiled a vibrant new tattoo, with celebrity tattoo artist Bang Bang revealing that the design came straight from her children: RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and baby Rocki Irish, just 7 months old. Bang Bang, whose real name is Keith McCurdy, shared videos of the session on Instagram on May 8, just days after Rihanna turned heads at the 2026 Met Gala.

A Masterpiece in Crayon

The tattoo itself is a playful, multicolored scribble in purple, red, yellow, green, and blue — unmistakably the handiwork of tiny artists. Bang Bang was seen working from the original drawing, a paper adorned with Paw Patrol stickers, though Rihanna wisely kept those off her skin. The ink was placed on the back of her left upper leg. True to her humor, she quipped during the session, “Make sure my ass looks good in the main shots,” wearing oversized sunglasses and a hoodie throughout.

A Growing Family Legacy in Ink

This latest addition fits neatly into Rihanna’s long tattoo history with Bang Bang, who is responsible for at least nine of her roughly 25 known tattoos. She and A$AP Rocky also share matching “1988” tattoos, inked in 2024. From the Egyptian goddess Isis across her chest to a memorial for her late grandmother, Rihanna’s body art has always carried deep personal meaning — and now, her children’s scribbles have earned a permanent place among them.
