The actress share on Instagram on Friday that she was hurt.
Thandiwe Newton is recovering from a leg injury in the emergency room.
On Friday, 49-year-old actress Crash shared a photo from inside the hospital on her Instagram story. The picture shows a young man laying a blanket over a woman sitting nearby.
“Feel the tender moment between mother and daughter,” Newton wrote before telling followers why he was in the hospital.
“In the ER because I have a stupid piece of glass on my leg,” she wrote, adding, “Oh, anyway.”
Her visit to the hospital came hours after she posted the inspirational message on her Instagram account.
Before copying his first name, Newton shared a photo of a succulent and sage stick and captioned it New Day/Ubuntu—the latter translates to “humanity” or “I exist because of us”. Next, she posted a photo similar to her Instagram Story, showing a wider shot of the sage next to a graphics card and a tube of Chanel lipstick.
“Travel,” Newton wrote, adding again, “UBUNTU.”
