Jason Sudeikis won an Emmy for starring as the ever-optimistic manager of the Premier League football team in Ted Lasso, which was named the best comedy series of the season. Long-time series about the life of Queen Elizabeth II, “The Crown,” was named Best Drama and shifted the acting category to a season dealing with the problematic relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
