Tapestry Hits Record Q1 Revenue of $1.7 Billion, Raises Full Year Outlook

Tapestry Inc announced impressive financial results for its first quarter of fiscal year 2026, reporting record revenue of $1.7 billion and raising its full-year outlook. The company, which operates the Coach and Kate Spade luxury accessory brands, delivered revenue growth of 13% year-over-year, or 12% in constant currency terms, for the quarter ending September 27, 2025. This strong performance demonstrates the effectiveness of the company’s newly introduced Amplify plan, designed to attract younger consumers and drive sustainable growth across global markets.

Coach Brand Leads Growth Momentum

Coach emerged as the primary growth engine for Tapestry, with pro forma revenue reaching $1.43 billion, representing a remarkable 22% increase. Kate Spade contributed $260.2 million in revenue, while the company’s gross margin expanded to 76.3% from 75.3% year-over-year. The accessory specialist acquired more than 2.2 million new customers globally during the quarter, with Gen Z consumers comprising approximately 35% of new customer acquisitions, reflecting the brand’s strengthening appeal among younger demographics.

International Markets Fuel Expansion

Geographic performance highlighted Tapestry’s international strength, with Europe leading the growth charge at 39%, followed by Greater China at 20% and North America at 18%. CEO Joanne Crevoiserat emphasized the company’s position of strength, stating that the first quarter outperformance marked a powerful start to the company’s next growth chapter. With structural advantages and sustainable business model foundations, Tapestry remains confident in delivering compounding growth and long-term shareholder value through focused execution of its strategic initiatives.
