Sydney Sweeney, known for her portrayal of Cassie on HBO’s hit series Euphoria, recently shared some behind-the-scenes insights in a video interview with Glamour. The 27-year-old actress reflected on her character’s fashion journey and admitted to keeping a few wardrobe pieces from the set.

Sweeney highlighted how her character’s style transformed throughout the series. Working closely with Euphoria’s costume designer, Heidi Bivens, Cassie’s look in the first season featured “pale pinks and soft blues,” reflecting a soft, feminine innocence.
But as the show progressed, Cassie’s outfits became more complex, as she tried to emulate other girls her love interest Nate fantasized about.
“She’s constantly changing her looks,” Sweeney explained, noting how Cassie’s wardrobe began to draw inspiration from other characters as she evolved throughout the seasons.

As the interview wrapped up, Sweeney revealed some of the wardrobe pieces she took home from the Euphoria set. “I kept a lot of Cassie’s jeans because they were all tailored to fit me perfectly,” she said, adding that jeans are often too long on her due to her shorter height.
With a laugh, Sweeney admitted to taking “a lot of the jeans” and even confessed to keeping some lingerie, though she quickly retracted, joking, “mainly just the jeans.”

One of Cassie’s most memorable looks from the show, her bold “Oklahoma look” from Season 2, has become an unforgettable moment.
Sweeney mentioned that this particular outfit will “forever follow me everywhere I go,” signaling its lasting impact on her character’s legacy.
Sweeney also spoke about the collaborative nature of creating Cassie’s makeup looks on set. She worked closely with makeup artist Donni Davy, saying they would brainstorm creative ideas together.
“It’s like playing dress up,” she said, describing how they would mix and match different makeup styles, incorporating jewels, sparkles, and shadows into Cassie’s looks.
