Jonas, 32, and his significant other Sophie Turner lauded Swift’s music while responding to fan inquiries during a new TikTok Live, shared by the Twitter account Swiffer Updates.
When requested which from the artist’s collections was the pair’s #1, the Dark Phoenix entertainer answered, “1989, without a doubt. The best.”
Turner, 26, added that Swift’s 2017 collection Reputation was affected by the connection between the Stark sisters — depicted by her and costar Maisie Williams — on Game of Thrones.
“Even though, Reputation was animated by, or halfway motivated by, Sansa and Arya Stark. Did you have at least some idea of that?” Turner asked Jonas.
“That is cool,” the Jonas Brother answered. “What’s more, 1989 is an incredible collection. Bangers. Bangers!”
“In a real sense, one of my number one collections ever,” she added.
In 2019, Swift affirmed her motivation for the collection during a meeting with Entertainment Weekly. She let the distribution know that she composed the tune, “I Did Something Bad,” in the wake of watching Arya and Sansa scheme to kill Littlefinger on the HBO series.
“Such a large amount of my creative mind was spent on Game of Thrones,” she said. “At that point, I was making Reputation, and I didn’t discuss it in interviews, so I didn’t uncover that the show impacted a great deal of the tunes.”
