Accusations of Abuse and Misconduct
In a recent case filed in New York, Combs has been accused of kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual acts, sometimes with threats of violence and firearms.
One of the most shocking incidents occurred in March when his Los Angeles mansion, where he had hosted his extravagant birthday party, was raided by police.
Officers allegedly seized drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil, which they claim were intended for use in notorious orgies known as “freak offs.”
Combs has denied all the charges and pleaded not guilty on September 17, 2024.
Lawsuits from Former Partner Cassie
The legal challenges Combs is facing stem from a series of lawsuits. One of the most significant cases involves Cassie, a singer and model who dated Combs for over a decade and was signed to his record label.
In her civil lawsuit, Cassie accused the rapper of cultivating a manipulative and coercive romantic and sexual relationship. She alleged that Combs frequently abused her, describing violent incidents where he would beat and kick her, leaving her with severe injuries like black eyes and bruises.
Cassie also revealed disturbing details about “freak offs,” drug-fueled parties where women were allegedly coerced into sexual performances, which Combs is said to have filmed for his own pleasure. She further claimed that his loyal associates witnessed these acts but did nothing to intervene.
Settled but Unresolved
While Combs vehemently denied Cassie’s allegations, accusing her of extortion, the two parties reached a settlement for an undisclosed amount just one day after the lawsuit was filed. Despite the settlement, Combs continues to maintain his innocence.
