Ozzy Osbourne says he has returned from the hospital and is recovering well after surgery

In a heartfelt message, Ozzy Osbourne thanked fans for their kind wishes.

The 73-year-old Black Sabbath rocker thanked his fans on Twitter on Wednesday for their words of support after going through the process. Last week, his wife Sharon Osborne said Monday’s “major surgery” would “dictate the rest of his life.”

“I’m home from the hospital now and recovering well,” wrote Ozzy. “I truly feel the love and support from all of my fans, and I thank them profusely for their thoughts, prayers, and wishes during my recovery.”

Sharon, 69, and Take to Twitter on Wednesday to update her husband’s health, simply writing, “He’s feeling great!” with the decline of his singing on stage.

The day before, the presenter of The Talk UK made her first statement since her husband’s surgery on her Instagram post, thanking fans for their love. He wrote. “Ozzy is fine and a speedy recovery!”

“Your love means a lot to him,” she added.

While appearing on The Talk UK last Friday, Sharon revealed that Ozzy would have surgery this week and that she would be traveling to Los Angeles to be with him. He said he would not appear on a live British talk show next month.

“He had a complicated operation on Monday, and I had to be there,” Sharon said. “This will define the rest of his life.”

The host did not provide further details about her husband’s procedure. However, Sharon also said she planned to be in Los Angeles when her son, Jack Osborne, welcomed his second daughter.

Sharon and Ozzy will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 1, although the celebration “will depend on everything with Ozzy,” Sharon said.
