Kesha Talks Roe vs. Wade Reversal at Stonewall Day Pride Performance

“We’re not alone in this, and we need you now more than ever,” Kesha told Stonewall Day fans at Pride Live 2022, held in front of the historic Stonewall Inn in New York.

Kesha asked her fans to be “R” proudly this month.

During Friday’s premiere of Pride Live’s Stonewall Day 2022 in New York, he celebrated his LGBTQ+ fans and talked about the overthrow of Roe v. Speaking to Wade; the extraordinary 1973 ruling granted abortion rights to women through the country.

The afternoon event occurred in front of the historic Stonewall Inn in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, where a 1969 police raid sparked the riots that launched the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Earlier in the day, a group consisting of New York State Governor Cathy Hochul and Senator Chuck Schumer developed the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, the first LGBTQ+ visitor center in the United States national park system.

Kesha, 25, wearing blue hair and a star-studded black leotard tied in a chain, told the audience, “Happy, happy f-ing pride” after finishing her four songs with “Cannibal.” which opened in 2011. “I” I am very respected, I am very excited, I am very humbled to celebrate Pride here.

This country is historic. It’s legendary. “It’s sacred,” he said on stage. But, are we dancing on this earth?”

Kesha continued, “It wasn’t always like this. It started as a protest. It started as a riot. People can’t always be themselves also celebrate in this street; we are so mean. “Lots of luck.”

He then turned to the SCOTUS decision, made Friday morning, that allowed states to ban people from having abortions. “I also have to say that I didn’t want to spoil the mood with today’s Supreme Court decision overturning Rowe v. Wade, but it’s important to understand that we are a family,” Kesha said.

“Look around. These are our brothers also our evil sisters. We need each other. We are not alone in this and need you guys more than ever. We all need to stick together and remember this is punk, ‘ added the Grammys. The Musician nominee added, “It won’t be easy. It won’t be easy, and we’re not done fighting yet. But we’re here today to celebrate who we are. We are who we are!”
