Wedding happiness: This year brought Parker McCollum his first significant award and a big-name concert date, but the 30-year-old Texan has even more reason to make this, as he puts it, “the best year of my life”. His marriage to his wife, Haley Rae Light, on March 28, 2011. But apart from romance, McCollum cites some practical reasons for his judgment.
“It’s surprising how much more productive and efficient my life has been since I got married,” she says. “Business is better.
I think just having a legitimate place to call home will help you navigate life on the road a lot easier. That helps me a lot.”
Only some things are working and playing, he said quickly. His wife could often accompany him on trips, and they also knew the importance of dating.
“It’s a bit difficult to get in there, but we’re trying to get them in,” he admits. “I’ve been very busy this year. Really, she’s a real angel because she has embraced my lifestyle the way she has.” ONE WAY: John Pardee walks the carpet with his wife, Summer, who is expecting their baby in February and is excited to talk about his upcoming dad role.
“Everyone’s like, ‘Are you nervous?'” Pardee said, “No, I’m 37. I’m ready for the kids. There’s no better time than now.” So what is he waiting for?
