Jason Momoa enlists potential donors to help his friend and others in need of blood stem cell transplants.

Jason Momoa continues to urge his fans to make a difference.

The 42-year-old actor shared a post on Instagram on Friday urging his followers to become potential donors again for Be The Match Registry. The national bone marrow donor program, amid his friend Travis Snyder’s battle with cancer.

“Aloha, everyone,” Momoa begins in a video showing him posing shirtless on a field. “As you have recently seen, I am talking about my friend Travis who is battling cancer for the third time. And how important it is to increase stem cells for him and the thousands of others who want a match.”

“First of all, I want to thank [everyone] involved. I’ve seen it, it’s beautiful, and we’re starting to do the casting, so please continue,” continued the Aquaman star.

Momoa added: “We can all make a difference together. Please join the registry. All you have to do is rub your cheeks and save someone’s life. Be a hero a real hero.” Momoa echoed his statement in the post’s caption, sharing a photo of Snyder’s three children – Hank, Miles, and Luke – in his slideshow and explaining how their father “needs a partner.”

“I love this boy,” Momoa wrote next to a photo of Snyder also his three sons. “They have watched their father fight cancer for seven years. His only hope for a secure is to find a match in the registry. Please help them and thousands more.” Momoa shared the same post on his Instagram story and a video from his news interview with Snyder last month.

The star also added a note that “only 2% of the population is registered in the stem cell registry, which means cancer patients are dying in anticipation of an attack. Every day.”
