1980s:
Musical Debut: Paola Turci’s musical journey began in 1986 when she participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with the song “L’uomo di ieri,” marking her debut.
Sanremo Success: Over the next three years, she participated in Sanremo, winning the critic’s award in 1987 with “Primo tango” and gaining popularity with “Bambini” in 1989.
1990s:
Continued Success: In 1990, she participated in Sanremo again with “Ringrazio Dio.” In 1991, she won the Cantagiro music competition and collaborated with Riccardo Cocciante on “E mi arriva il mare.”
