In the video, Bieber tells viewers, “it’s time to make sure you’re registered to vote. Also start planning your voting schedule.”
Noting that this year’s general election falls on November 8, Bieber reminded viewers that “most Americans could vote sooner. Before clarifying that seats in the House of Representatives, Senate, and Board of Governors are up for election, “along with thousands of state agencies and other locales.”
PSA then urged viewers to text VOTER at 26797 to ensure they are registered and ready to vote on or before November 8.
“I’m excited to be working with I Am a Voter to encourage everyone to register. And make their plans to vote ahead of the November midterm elections,” Bieber said in an exclusive statement to news.
“So many candidates and actions are being voted on that will affect millions of lives especially women’s lives. And I wish everyone could take two minutes to make sure they are register and ready to vote today,” he continued.
The star’s new campaign comes amid Bieber’s longstanding commitment to voter education. Her skincare company Rhode recently partnered with I am a voter. Rhode also the Rhode Futures Foundation committed to supporting and investing in women and their families through 2023. Celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September 20 by encouraging fans to vote at the ballot box.
