Hailey Bieber is the latest star to be spotted wearing a houndstooth, a sizeable checkered pattern with jagged corners resembling canine teeth. Last week, the 25-year-old Road founder turned up in Los Angeles wearing a black and white houndstooth blazer over a white top, paired with $1,189 side-zipped pants and chunky black Miu Miu shoes.
While a handful of celebrities have rocked their blazers recently, Hailey is the first we have seen, and her edgy yet sophisticated vibe is second to none. We could see ourselves wearing oversized blazers with petite tops and flared bottoms like Bieber’s but would also be paired with turtlenecks, jeans and loafers, or slip dresses and knee-high boots.

Just last week in Los Angeles, Liverpool influencer Kaitlyn Covington’s line showed off a houndstooth “coatigan,” aka a cross between a comfortable cardigan and a heavier cardigan coat.
