The trip takes fans down the Danube River in Europe and includes a book signing and Q&A session with Gillian Flynn.
Gone Girl fans now have the chance to meet the author herself, Gillian Flynn.
On Saturday, the 51-year-old bestselling author invited her fans to attend a Gone Girl Cruise in Europe. Where participants can learn more about her story and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the psychological thriller.
“There are still tickets available to enter me at the Avalon Waterways GONE GIRL CRUISE September 15-22. Flynn, 51, wrote on Twitter, including a link to the cruise line’s website for all “details, offers, and…”. on the way. The cruise, part of the Storyteller series Avalon Waterways, will take fans along the Danube from Budapest to Vienna. It will also include wine tasting and canoe tours, book signings, and Q&A sessions with Flynn.
“This is a great opportunity to spend a week sailing with the ‘Killer Queen’ on an apartment ship,” the website reads.
Before Gone Girl, Flynn published his novel Sharp Objects and Dark Places. In the ten years since Gone Girl, she has been involved in film and television. Including writing the screenplay for the 2018 film Widows and serving as writer/creator for the Amazon Prime Video series Utopia.
Speaking to News in May, the author said he could feel the anticipation of fans waiting for the new book. Although Flynn confirmed that his highly anticipated next book wouldn’t be a sequel to Gone Girl, he shared that he wouldn’t mind returning to this story any time soon. (Spoiler alert: the novel ends with Amy, after convincing her husband Nick of her murder. Producing to reveal that she is pregnant, making Nick reluctant to stay in the marriage to raise their child.)
