Yolanda Hadid shared a cute photo while on duty. Gigi Hadid returns to work with partner Zane Malik just months after the birth of her daughter.
The model took to Instagram Stories on December 3 to share a selfie from her new concert. “I would say two jobs back, but being a mom is a job like no other,” she wrote under a selfie for people, then added, “BACK TO THE OFFICE.” Since he appears to be wearing a white robe in the photo, we assume it’s a click from the dressing room.
On the same day, his mother, True Housewives star Yolanda Hadid, shared a photo of herself holding her granddaughter. The two of them were grouped in it and turned away from the camera. “We spent the day while Mama was away,” Yolanda wrote, tagging Gigi.
Hadid and Malik haven’t revealed too much about their daughter – we still don’t know her name and haven’t seen her face, probably for privacy reasons, but the family shared how much they enjoyed it. On October 18, Yolanda posted a photo of her hand holding the baby and wrote: “My heart is spent with so much love and joy for this little girl that she is an angel sent to us from above Thank you, moms and dads, for making me grandma, I love every minute of it”.
And while Gigi hasn’t been on a catwalk since she was born (not that there are plenty of catwalks to run thanks to the pandemic), she does a modeling version: she publishes beautiful photos of pregnancy and early childhood. In early November, Gigi wrote that she thought of a series of photos with her little girl and family Christmas decorations “a new way to get busy and tired.”
This is, of course, not the first time Yolanda is taking care of her granddaughter and announced that she lives with Ziji. She even acts as Gigi and Zane’s first temporary babysitter. GE’s “night” has been drinking since they became parents. “Mom and dad’s first meeting,” wrote is Gigi in early October on her Instagram Stories. “He’s in another room with Grandma, but he misses her a lot, lol.”
A source says E! News of the importance of Yolanda’s presence to the family in October said, “She is their innate nurse, and they are so grateful to have her.”
