Trying out new styles can be scary, but Pugh’s ideas are doable.

If you’re trying to fill a hole in your wardrobe left by a pair of decade-old skinny jeans that are outdated, Florence Pugh and much of Hollywood offer more casual wear.

That’s right, believe it or not, baggy jeans are the new skinny – bonus points if they’re fancy. Pugh, in particular, was spotted wearing wide-cut, ripped jeans at Paris Fashion Week. And he paired them with a black double-breasted jacket, white shoes, and a white bag.

This transitional outfit is perfect for early fall and balances casual and chic, thanks in large part to Pugh’s earthy denim.

Baggy jeans are objectively more comfortable and roomy than the straight jeans of the past. Which Pugh might enjoy hopping between tracks during a tough day. And unlike skinny jeans, you don’t have to worry about which shoes you can. And can’t pair with baggy denim sneakers, boots, sandals, platforms, and heels all work well.

Other celebrities follow the loose denim trend, including Hilary Duff, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber. Duff opted for a more casual look over Pugh, having recently paired her baggy pants with a classic white tee and red crossbody. Gigi paired hers – low cut, full length – with a Y2K-style tank top with spaghetti straps.

And as temperatures continue to drop, we’re sure to see celebs coming out with sweaters and cardigans to wear with them. We don’t know exactly which denim brand Pugh wore at PFW. But the good news is that the fashion industry wasted no time meeting the demand. Levi’s Ribcage Straight Ankle Jeans go well with the Pugh cut. There are also a variety of other styles and washes.
