Elon Musk suddenly stopped tweeting why read reason
It is been more than a week since the head of Tesla and SpaceX posted on the platform he’s trying to buy.
Musk’s last tweet was on June 21. This is in support to a post about the battle between SpaceX and the FCC over the previous Starlink internet space program.
A day later, on June 22, Mr. Musk loves a series of publications. Some for his attempt to take over Twitter, while others are entirely unrelated.
But on that day, a week ago, Musk had not posted to the platform at all. He did not announce his possible departure and did not explain the silence. He even remained silent until he passed the 100 million follower stage, something very few members of the platform shared.
One of the most famous Twitter users, Mr. Musk, is a very prolific poster among celebrities. Before his inexplicable silence, he published at least once daily for more than a month.
However, this is not the 1st time he has left Twitter. In recent years he has occasionally announced that he will no longer be using the platform – and usually returns within a few days.
The silence fell amid growing scrutiny on Twitter and Musk’s use. He is close to done the purchase of the deal, which has been upgraded by shareholders but continues to suggest the site has more fake accounts than publicly acknowledged.

Shortly after, it was reported that SpaceX had laid off at least some of the employees involved in organizing the letter.
