The professional organizer – co-founder of The Home Edit and star of the hit Netflix series Get Organized with the Home Edit – debuted her new hairdo in a series of stunning photos on the company’s official Instagram page on Friday.
“Another major breast cancer event.” John shaved my head, my friends held my hand, and I burst into tears. Proceed. “Klia,” she wrote above the carousel, designating her husband John as the photographer.
Shearer, 40, received support from fans and friends in the post’s comments section.
Sending love to Clea and fellow The Home Edit Joanna Teplin, actress Marla Sokoloff wrote, “You are wonderful. And brave. I love you without limits. Joanna, I want to hug you!”
Country star Lindsay Elle wrote: “LOVE YOU SO MUCH.” And Jennifer Love Hewitt added: “Beautiful. Strong. Just like you.” In a video on The Home Edit’s Instagram Story, Teplin—who was there for a haircut—commends Shearer, saying, “This is a monumental thing. Clea shaved her head; of course, I must be here in solidarity. They both joked. That Teplin usually wears a purple sports bra at crucial moments.
Shearer joined the video and said, “He said, ‘Do you want me to shave my head?’ And I said, ‘Purple sports bra.’ “
Shearer revealed the new look with a short video for the transformation on his Instagram story, writing: “How it started and how it was done. Shearer said Thursday that he began chemotherapy because he is living with breast cancer.
Along with a photo of himself sitting in a lounge chair with a blanket and pillow, rope, and IV fluid, the Netflix star wrote, “Today is my first day of chemotherapy. As the day drew near, I started getting less sleep, more worried, and even had a tantrum last night. I can only describe it as a child queuing up to ride a giant roller coaster and at the last minute screaming: “I can’t do that. !!
