The 29-year-old rapper tricked fans on Twitter into thinking the whole cut was Chanel
Cardi B, 29, changed her look too “Chanel” on Twitter, only to surprise fans the next day that her entire look came straight from the ever-popular Target supermarket.
On Sunday, Cardi B the Grammy-winning rapper tweeted a paparazzi photo of himself walking down the street with the caption, “I’m wearing Chanel’s best.”
To a staggering 23.2 million Cardi Twitter followers, the mother-of-two revealed the next day that her fun pink and purple outfit was Target. In response to her tweet, she wrote, “FUN FACT: These are Target outfits”
The original tweet received nearly 3,000 replies, filled with fans admiring her incredibly sunny and summery look. Someone wrote “Queen of Chanel.” Another said: “You wear your best.”
One fan caught the “Up” singer in her lies. “I have the same shirt! Green by Target, hahaha,” he revealed.
After a quick search on the Target site, the rapper’s tops and bottoms are still available. The adorable double lavender front tie crop top is open for just $10.20. Even available in two additional colors – black and dark green.
The pink shorts are very trendy with a high waist and terry fabric. The lace bottom also features a muted floral pattern, and bath designs complement a matching, versatile top.
The superstar completed her Target look with extra-long straight hair, gorgeous, glamorous makeup, bright green stiletto nails, and some cheetah-printed slides.
The star recently revealed that she wanted plastic surgery following the birth of her son Wave in September. Wave is the second child born to Cardi and husband Offset, after their 3-year-old daughter, Culture. In June’s Instagram Story, she drew attention to her stomach, saying it made “my stomach clench.”
