Cam Ayala Says Hannah Brown Sent A ‘very Long And Sweet Message’ After Leg Was Amputated
Former contestant Ermine underwent surgery to amputate Cam Ayala leg last month as part of his lifelong struggle with chronic lymphedema.
Cam Ayala revealed Hannah Brown contacted her last month after surgery to amputate her leg.
Ayala, who attended Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, said the reality star messaged her on Instagram but she hasn’t heard back from her other contestants.
“For the record, Hannah Brown DMed me last night and sent a very long and sweet message. She wrote in response to a post by Bachelor thatbachlexx fan. “As for the others in my season…”
The Bachelor in Paradise alum also opened up about her experiences on the reality series. After the show documented her crashing into a group date she wasn’t invited to and babbling about Hannah during serious and sensitive conversations with other men.
“It was a very depressing situation that led to the PTSD that I have been struggling with for the past 3 years,” he said. “But I am no longer angry or bitter, this journey has brought me closer to God also helped me recall the important things in my life.”
Last month, Ayala shared an update with fans on her recovery from leg amputation surgery. Ayala has posted a series of photos and videos to Instagram moments after the surgery, which removed most of her right leg.
In the Texas Medical Center video, Ayala is seen using a walker with the help of her doctor. As he walks back into the room, a recording of a friend tells him, “Good job.”
Ayala, 33, wrote the post, “It took a lot of BROME with @b.rapp. He calls himself “CAMputee” with a series of hashtags including “FAITHoverFEAR. Ayala underwent an amputation as a further step in her battle with lymphedema, a chronic, untreated disease. That causes fluid to pool in soft tissues and cause swelling in her hands and feet. The former reality show star was born with a condition that mostly affects his right leg.
