The Cam Ayala former Bachelorette contestant recently teamed up with Katie Bates to raise awareness of chronic lymphedema.
Cam Ayala has had her leg amputated and is hoping for a recovery.
In an Instagram post on Friday, former The Bachelorette contestant Ayala shared photos and videos from the moments after her surgery to remove most of her right leg.

Ayala underwent the amputation as another step in her lifelong battle with lymphedema. This chronic, untreated disease causes fluid to pool in soft tissues and cause swelling in her arms and legs.
